CommuteSeaport & Commuter Programs

What is CommuteSeaport?

CommuteSeaport, in partnership with MassCommute, is a new way to make your commute easier, less stressful, and more rewarding.

Log your commute every day in an easy-to-use smartphone app to earn points, find a carpool match, compete with your colleagues in challenges, and earn prizes. Not only will you be able to see your environmental impact, but you will also be able to see how much money you have saved when you switch to or continue with a green commute. Use the app to automatically track your trip, no matter whether you use transit, carpool, walk, or bike.

CommuteSeaport has a new look!

As of January 5, CommuteSeaport has shifted to a new digital platform. This new platform makes it easier for commuters to track trips, earn points and rewards, and access all of our commuter programs.

Here are some things you may need to know.

  • For previous users:
Users who had CommuteSeaport accounts prior to January 5, will have profile information automatically transferred to the new platform. An email should have been received with log in credentials and a link to log in. After that, you will need to download the new app and track away!

If you did not receive the email with your new log-in credentials, please email us at info@seaporttma.org.

    For new users:
Go to CommuteSeaport and sign up! Once you complete your profile you will gain access to all of our rewards and programs. Start tracking your trips, and see how your sustainable commuting makes a difference.

Watch here for a video tutorial on how to sign up.

  • Once you have logged into your CommuteSeaport account, there are a few crucial steps to ensuring you have access to all of the rewards and benefits you should.

    • Complete your profile: Make sure you fill out all of the necessary information once in your account. Certain rewards and benefits will be restricted until this is completed. The most important step of this process is filling out your organization. You will not see rewards until this step is complete.

Watch here for a step by step video on how to complete your profile.

  • While most programs are just updated to be sleeker and easier to use, we have a few fun additions coming with the new program. These include:

    • Drag & drop calendar trip logging

    • One-time and event carpool board

    • Users can restrict carpool matches by organization, language preferences, gender, non-smokers, and more

    • Monthly raffle for all users

  • Our point program is slightly shifting with the change to our new program. Each sustainable commute that you track will reward you with 100 points (200 points per round trip). So in comparison to our current program, 1 point (current) = 100 points (new).

Every previous CommuteSeaport user will start with 1000 bonus points as a thank you for making the switch to our new platform!

Please email us with further questions.
