Patrick D. Sullivan

Executive Director

Patrick Sullivan is the Executive Director of the Seaport TMA. In this role he oversees the TMA’s commuter programs and advocates on behalf of the organization’s membership for transportation improvements that will benefit those who work, live in, and visit the South Boston Waterfront.

Prior to joining Seaport TMA, Patrick served as Director of Policy & Outreach at 128 Business Council, a TMA serving the Route 128 Corridor west of Boston. At 128 Business Council Patrick worked to advocate for and implement new sustainable transportation options for Massachusetts commuters. Prior to 128 Business Council Patrick was a graduate intern at the Boston Redevelopment Authority.

Patrick recently served in an elected role as the Managing Director of MassCommute, the Massachusetts Council of TMAs and now serves the organization as Immediate-Past Managing Director. He also serves as the Immediate Past President of the New England Chapter of the Association for Commuter Transportation (ACT).

Patrick has previously been named to the Association for Commuter Transportation’s (ACT) “40 Under 40,” and is a graduate of the ACT Leadership Academy. He was selected to participate in the 2016 Transportation for America (T4A) Transportation Leadership Academy, a year-long leadership program for transportation professionals. Patrick has a particular interest in the intersection of transportation and technology, and has conducted extensive research and has written on the subject of autonomous vehicles and their future impact on cities. He is a LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design & Construction with the U.S. Green Building Council.

Patrick received a Masters in City and Regional Planning from Boston University and a Bachelors of Arts in History from the University of Vermont.

 

Traci Laichter

Assistant Director

Traci Laichter is the Assistant Director of the Seaport TMA, where she manages commuter programs and marketing and advocates for improved access to the Seaport with municipal and state agencies. Traci manages Seaport TMA’s award-winning Bike Seaport series and Water Transit Month. Ask her about ferries or where to get the best bagels in town.

Traci has a background in non-profit communications and graphic design, and she is passionate about sustainability and accessibility. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Ethnomusicology from Hampshire College.
