What is a Emergency Ride?
The Seaport TMA's Emergency Ride Program provides you with  peace of mind

The service may be used for any of the following situations:

  • Unexpected family illness, personal illness at work (to get home)
  • Unexpected family emergency (to get home, to the hospital, etc.)
  • Unexpected overtime at work at the signed request of a supervisor (to get home), providing you work within the City limits

Service may NOT be used for:

  • Personal/prescheduled appointments
  • Weather related inconveniences
  • Pre-arranged overtime
  • Business-related travel, personal errands or leisure trips
  • Rides to and from work (that are not related to a personal illness, emergency, etc.)

Registered participants may use a Ride up to six times a year. Because unanticipated crises may occur within the same period, there are no restrictions on using the Ride multiple times during the same week or month.
