Carpool Matching and Rewards

Share a ride to work and be rewarded with gas cards, reserved parking and more.
You’ll be matched with
employees who work similar hours and live nearby, making carpooling
convenient and easy. Choose when and how often you want to carpool.
The more you share, the more you earn.
Massachusetts DOT offers
a discounted carpool transponder for use by a 3-person+
carpool on the MassPike and Sumner/Callahan Tunnels. Click

Step 1:
Register,
then we will check our database for a match.
Step 2:
View
current
listings
of employees in the South Boston Waterfront looking to carpool.

See someone
with a similar commute? We only provide information about
our listings to registered participants,
so after registering, send an email to
SeaportTMA@fmr.com
with the listing number, and we'll try to get you matched.

Don't
see a match?
Register
anyway, because new
registrants sign up daily. We'll notify you when someone new
joins who has a similar commute.

Form your own
carpool then
let us know so we can start rewarding you.
Step 3: Submit the
Monthly
Carpool Report.
Active carpools earn a $25 gas card* each month for
up to six months by submitting the monthly report.
Carpools must be registered for a full month to begin
earning the gas cards.
If your carpool does not submit a report, you forfeit
that month's gas card.
Step 4: Sign up for
Guaranteed Ride Home. If you or someone in your
carpool has to leave work early or stay late, we don't
want either of you to be stuck for a ride. We provide
a free ride home via a taxi - no limit on miles or fare.
Be sure each person in your carpool registers.

*To receive the full six months of gas cards all
persons in the carpool must work for a Seaport TMA
member company. Otherwise, the carpool is eligible
for three months of gas cards. You must
also complete a carpool report each month to earn
your gas card. If you do not submit a report by the
deadline, you forfeit that month's gas card.
HOW
THE REWARDS WORK

All members of your carpool who are employees of a
Seaport TMA member
company need to register.

Keep track of the number of days and miles that you
carpool each month (minimum of 2 days/week).

After your carpool has been registered for one full month, complete and submit the
Monthly Carpool
Report by the deadline.
(Example: if you carpool registers in December, keep
track of January carpooling and submit the January
report by February 7.)

If the report is complete and submitted by the
deadline, your carpool will receive the $25 gas card. If
the report is not submitted or is submitted after
the 7th of the month, the carpool foregoes the reward.

Gas cards
are sent to alternating members of the carpool each
month. It
is up to the carpool to agree
upon how the reward is used/dispersed. The Seaport TMA will not make any
determinations in this regard.
